I'm working on a fullscreenform example and wonder if I should be including a combobox for adapter count and selection of (multi video cards)?
Would this be some thing we need to include in a games option form these days? Any thoughts about which things ought to be included on the option form would be appreciated.

Well i have nothing at all :-).

Just some automatic FOV conclusion, depending on the screen X/Y ratio.

Ofc, for any 2D (like GUI's etc) you need to keep track of the resolution and pixels.

But i don't even propose the user any other screen resolution than the current. Hm.. maybe i should? In case the user wants to have less pixels because of GPU speed (or lack of speed). And ofc, if allowing the user to set stuff like anisotrophy etc. I don't ask, just decide for the user :-).

Thanks for the reply, I think I'll see if I can get adapter selection for multi video cards in a PC to work as well.

I have a run dialog form that highlights the current resolution, but list all supported ones that they can choose from. They can also set detail levels, etc..  For the simple fact that not all computers have the same amount of power and if you keep all the eye candy enabled and they can't play it.... what is the point of writing it in the first place?

Point!  I'm still working at getting what I want it to do to happen, once I get my example working to my satisfaction I'll post the demo.  Thanks for your reply.
