Until Sylvain releases the next build of MTV3D65.DLL which will be compiled against VS.NET 2008 (.NET 3.5) you will have to manually edit your applications .config file to get your app running with .NET 4.0.

Don't worry, it's EASY.

thanks to Dasca for getting this working.

One little information could save your life....

When you will add the app.config file in the project be sure to call it App.config and not App1.config as VS does.

If you happen to be updating some program that has two projects, make sure there is an app.config file for each project. I tripped over this one myself recently...

Well I believe this might be the thing that keeps me from jumping ship!  I've been struggling for weeks with an "Attempted to access protected memory" error.  Traced it back to TV not playing well with VS2010.

I applied the config correction to both of my projects in the solution.  It worked at first but then stops.  Throwing that same error.  Is this a VS2010/TV error?  The debugger says
Quote
A first chance exception of type 'System.AccessViolationException' occurred in MTV3D65.dll

I almost gave up on TV, which I think is the best/easiest engine to use with VB.NET, but if I can get this resolved I'm definitely sticking.  Any ideas?
