Man you guys need to get some moderators. The forum is by far the most useful aspect of TV. With this spam it will completely kill peoples desire to want to learn TV if they have to come to a forum and root through tons of spam. Since there isn't a real documentation that is complete I believe it will finish off TV. So sad. Get a moderator to clean up the forum already.

I've offered many times to be a moderator. Sylvain actually was pretty close to doing it but couldn't figure out how to run the forum software. Dou'h! Anyway, Sylvain... it's not too late. Don't let TV3D be a dumpster baby. We can rescue her!

Same here, I offered to help out, including marketing and further development (including for DX10 / 11), and got no reply at all. I think the best way to look at it s either Sylvain is too busy with his paid work and family to maintain the forum or has just completely lost interest, maybe for justifiable reasons. There could be a resurgence, but with the lead dev not replying to Posts / PMs, seeing through offers of help from the community or even deleting spam, you have to ask how long it will go on for? The answer probably is for as long as the license server stays up, after that for as long as it remains useable with DX9 tech. The only thing that I really could never understand is why not let the community know what going on, we all have things in life (often beyond our control) that get in the way of, or change our plans, so I think we would understand what ever the reasons and future plans, but basically I think it's sadly going to continue to dwindle away (hope I'm wrong though Sylvain, if you're going to let it go then why not release it for open source and we can maintain it and keep the whole thing going?).

Your being too nice to Sylvain. Basically both he and DarkDude are a couple of f u c k w i t s. They have basically f u c k e d off and left it to die and people keep being nice about it. Lets call a spade a spade........... Sylvain and Dark Dude you are both a couple of f***wits.

Maybe you're right (I'm sure there is no concern from their end), so what would be the reason to leave the forum / site running, to get a few last customers, maybe

Hey! There's hope yet! I'm a moderator now. How did that happen? Thanks Sylvain? We'll keep those spammers off the board.

Wow I am glad to see you became a mod & the freaking spam has been deleted. If the spam would of continued I would of switched to another graphics engine. Maybe there still is some hope. What is the deal with DarkShadow? It is like he fell off face of the earth.

It's been two years since an update to the engine...
I think it might be time to open it up a bit. This doesn't necessarily mean open source, but maybe a source available but restricted license for customers. At least that way we could keep it going.

Who do we need to contact to put that idea ahead?
Shall we start a petition or something?
