Hi,

I realy like the new interface Smiley. There is some small things that i have found that i would like to see a change to if possible.

When i add a new mesh and change it to load from filename there is 3 questions you have to answer(usualy yes to all). i would be nice to have some default settings for that.

When you change the mesh to load from filename and i choose to import the textures to it. it imports them a bit wrong. the mesh is loading fine but when you look under textures and the filename you can't change texture without erasing the filename first. the path it has added have a double backslash in the end just before the texturename.

And finaly on meshes. if i choose to import textuers it would be nice that it by default erased the stage0tex that is set to grid by default.(it overieds the imported textures)

otherwise i realy like it.

I haven't been able to test the new splating by height yet but i would suprise me if that would be a disapointment.

I'm glad to hear that you like it! I will incorporate your suggestions into the next update.

And splatting by height has been in there for a while Smiley

Ok, I changed it so that now it only asks if you would like to load the textures with the model. I also made it so that the default grid texture is removed when you load a mesh from file. However, all of the models that I have tried do not create textures with an extra backslash in the filename. Can you send me a model and texture that causes this?

Hi, newbie here...

I can't download the PlanetX editor because the web site seems to be down. Any info as to why? I searched the forum but could not find an answer.

Can someone send me a link to download it please!

Thanks.

Hey everyone,

I'm back! I'll be completing the 1.2 release in a week or two. This includes the 1.1 project upgrader, which I almost have working, as well as numerous small things in the interface. I'll also be bringing the website back up online.

Anyone have any feature requests for the next version?

Hi Pizza

A road builder would be fantastic. One that has kerb and gutters and combines it smoothly with the landscape.

Thanks for the suggestions. Scene management and occlusion culling don't really have to do with the editor, as they would be added after you load your map into your project. I will look into a road building tool. Any other suggestions?

I'll be gone over the weekend, but I finished the 1.1 project updater and 1.2 should be released some time next week. The release features both of the demo levels created by AGT. The new one has a realtime movie that shows most of the features of scripting.

Here are some pics:
