Title says it all. When converting mdl models to tva models with the (latest) converter.exe, I noticed that it mirrors the textures. But the texture image files are all right, only the models are mirrored for some reason. I tried setting a negative value to scale, which while did mirror my model, also introduced a culling artifact (the mode displayed like it was turned inside out).

Hey bbence,

Yes indeed....

I have been speaking with Sylvain quite a bit about this and other mirroring issues.
Example, the last (03-07-2005) MilkShape plugin was suppose to include a mirroring check box for reversing during export. Presently exports mirrored. In other words, a player model holding a weapon in the right hand exports holding in left hand.

Sylvain has been notified that it hadn't been distributed with this function selection option.

Speaking of your textures, what you'll also find is if the texture has wording, it will show up reversed after exporting as well.

Anyways, he's up on it and not much we can do about to for the time being. Sorry for the bad news but according to Sylvain, a fix is in the works.

Milkshape3D exporter has new check boxes now. Try them out.

For the converter.exe, it will come a little later, it's more annoying to do Smiley
