Is the sound engine removed in 6.5?
How do I put a bacground music(mp3) in visual c#?

I still use the tv3dmedia engine 6.1. It works quite well for what you need.. Smiley

I simply use DirectSound. A pity that in my version (8?) you can only choose between variable volume or variable pitch, not both.

IrrKlang, FMOD, OpenAL all work great with TV (or any 3D app for that matter).  Depending on what your sound requirements are, you could even play sound using native code (I do that for MP3 playback and streaming from Shoutcast radio).
