Hello,
If you have any problem with Developer License issue (crashess when initializing the engine without reason after using LicenseSign), please answer to this thread or contact me via PM. I will provide debug builds of the licensesign and engine dlls, so that we can track down the problem.
Thanks

I have problem with "Publish Application License" (can't remove the watermark), the "Developer Machine License" is ok.
Please check your PM.

Make sure you have the most current version of TV and the most current version of the license sign software.
If that doesn't help you need to show us your debug.txt file on the root of C:

What are the options if you need to stick with an older version of 6.5? The latest version of Newton breaks all my vehicles, so I can't use it.

I think it should still work. The base algorithm for the license sign didn't change. Do you currently have any problem with it?

Dear All,
I am getting beta license verification error on customer computer. Here are the steps that I follow:
I show my developer license file in source code before building. I build my application on Visual Studio 2008, VB. I run the license sign application downloaded from my account page. I enter my developer license username and password, path of application I built, and tick on application option. Create the license file with the name of application.lic After that I install my application and license file on customer computer and I get "Beta file verification failed"
Ps: In my orum account I don't have link for beta key. "Customer computer soes not have internet connection. You can find my debug.txt file in attachment.

If you are referring to the TV3D6.5 closed (pre) beta, the latest version of TV3D6.5 is out of that stage now, so there is no longer separate key for the beta. The TVEngine.SetBetaKey(...) should no longer exist (unless you are using a really old version of the engine).

Delete the .lic file, wherever you saved it( default is in your documents folder ).

I am using 02/2009 version of TV3d 6.5. And I have the latest license sign Application downloaded from download page. Although the developer license is produced I get crashes during initialization. When I remove the license file I see watermark. How can I use older versions of 6.5 and how do I sign developer and customer license file.
Thanks in advance

Same problem here. Developer Machine License don't work at all. Using VB6(SP6) on WinXP and last versions of both SDK and Licensing Tool.

Ok, to all people that have problems with license files ... what i'm suggesting is just a precaution and may NOT be the solution.
The licensing program of TV3D generates a license which it places in the default documents folder of your computer. From my experience i can tell you that depending on the actual path of your document folder, there's a chance that the TV3D library might not be able to find that file. If that's the case then simply copy the .lic file generated from the license file to the same directory as your project.
In windows, the actual path of folder like "MyDocument", ... etc, may contain non Latin characters or it may contain spaces or other symbols that the TV3D library may not understand, causing it to fail to open the file. I've seen it happen countless times and i suspect that's the case with TV3D.
Also note that the .lic file is "hardware" related which means that if you're adding or removing hardware (maybe even virtual hardware like Daemon Tools, ... etc), you may have to recreate the license.
That's all ... have fun.

Micmanos gave nice advice. Thanks
If it works one day and not the other day, it's probably because hardware changed. The license system uses Network and HD identification. It uses by default the ethernet card and the first internal disk, but if it can't find it for some reason, it takes the first MAC address and HD Serial it finds. So please regen your dev license file in this case.
Make sure you have the latest versions of DLL and license sign. Konsey for exemple uses an old version (because of the physics engine changes) so the new dev license doesn't work for him. This doesn't apply to the application license since it's not based on hardware.
