Long time user, first time posting.

I am using addvertex to create a mesh. The problem is the 4th and 6th set of polygons are sharing the same texture coords. I checked the internal values of both with getvertex and all appears correct. When I change the tu/tv of poly #6, poly #4 is also changed.

I have no idea what is causing this, all geometry is good. I also tried adding a face to every two sets of polys with no help.

I am about 75% finished with this project so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Got it. Had two faces facing opposite directions in same plane. Still not sure about the effect but at least it works now.

Anybody out there besides golf fans? I've looked at a lot of engines and for non game projects this is still the best by far. Maybe focus should be shifted away from games and towards apps. Anyway I'm sure nobody's listening.

Good Luck

Thanks

Hi Vin,

It's definitely become a ghost town on here, I think everyone's gone golfing Smiley Glad you solved the issue, particularly as it's pretty obvious that TV3D isn't being maintained anymore. I agree with you about TV3D is an excellent tool and I suspect we are all are quite saddened about Sylvain's silence, whatever the reason. As for me, I solved the problem by developing a replacement for TV3D for my project (a lot of work, but well worth it). I just want to finish off a couple of things and then I'll let people know, providing TV3D dev doesn't restart.

Total Dev time = 50% to code, 50% to test, 50% to find errors, 50% to fix, that's why it takes twice as long.
