Every time i try to export to TVA/TVM  with TV plugin from 3D Max 9 i got i got this error:

"An error has occurred and the application will now close. No scene changes have occurred since your last save."

TV plugin do works exporting to .X format.

I have put 3Ds Max 9 plugin in the "plugins" dir and TV3D65.dll (not MTV3D65.dll) in 3Ds Max root.

I have already fully updated my Max and DirectX to try to solve this; didn't work also.

TV log only shows:

05-19-2010 22:50:03 | --------------------------------------------
05-19-2010 22:50:03 | Truevision3D Debug/Log File
05-19-2010 22:50:03 | --------------------------------------------
05-19-2010 22:50:03 | Engine Version : 6.5
05-19-2010 22:50:03 | ENGINE INFO : DLL Compilation time Nov 11 2009 23:25:48

Nothing more.

Im using Windows 7 64 Home Premium.

Does anybody know how to fix it ? Thanks!

Do you have installed any developer license ?
it looks like it's not valid anymore (it often crashes at this place in the debug mode)

Please remove the .lic file from the My Documents folder to disable the developer license. It should work then.

Deleting .lic file fixed export problems!  Grin

Bu now i cant export with a license generated, even if a generate a new one with LicenseSign, this causes 3Ds Max to crash; but all others applications such as ModewView works properly with the license.

There is any fix to that ?

You're sure you copied the exact same version of TV3D65.dll ?
(check the debug file generated, it contains the compilation date)

Else the problem might be that 3DS max doesn't not support our license system, I will check it next week.)

Here is my TV dll compilation time from debugfile:
05-19-2010 22:50:03 | ENGINE INFO : DLL Compilation time Nov 11 2009 23:25:48

Also, im inclined to say that this problem only occurs on 64 edition, since we was already using Windows 7 (32) and we had never this kind of error before.

Ok, let me now any nows on this. Thanks.

Are you using Max 64 or Max 32bit? Because the 64bit version isn't supported by the exporter.

Have you tried to run dependency walker on the dll? Maybe the d3dx9_XX.dll is missing.

I have had this error before. I wondered if it might be something about my security credentials .You might want to try and clear your cache and see if that helps. Sometimes the strangest things can make a big difference.
