Can anyone tell me what files I need if I want to run a Truevision Executable and have it display right on any computer?  Its been a long time since I have messed with Truevision and I can't remember what files are nessessary to distribute with a program.  This would be helpful since I can't always use a computer with Visual Studio on it.  I'm using Windows XP, VB6 and Truevision 6.2 and 6.3.

Using the Package and Deployment Wizard you should have with your VB installation will help you. Anyway I use to include these:

truevision3d.dll
tvutil63.dll
tvmedia.dll
dx8vb.dll

And you also must have the DX8 installed...

Thanks for the help, but I'm still having a problem.  I installed the truevision3d.dll and dx8vb.dll files to the same directory as the truevision program, but I'm still running into the same problem I had before.  Windows gives me the following message error..

Runtime Error '429'
ActiveX Componenet can't create object

I downloaded windows5.6 script stuff to fix the error '429' but I"m still receiving the same problem.  Any suggestions?

Don't forget to register the files.

regsvr32 file.dll
