Check the DLL with Depends.exe -- http://www.dependencywalker.com/ and see if something is missing.  (Perhaps something else uninstalled a required file it shouldn't have?)

I am new to TV3D and get the same error as 'Raul'. Loaded a VB project, click on "Run" the get "can't find project or library" on "Private TV8 As TVEngine" in sample code.

Dependency walker says that MSJAVA.Dll is missing Huh See attached.

What should i do ?

I have a new installation winxpxp2, i am running Java 6 installed (see attached).

Late breaking news - Can't upload screen shot upload folder is full !

no. the dll is present. how to explain: today works fine both SDK and next day 6.3 did not want to work anymore... neither TVMEdia.DLL

i unistalled all SDK with all DLL, etc.... reisntalled them. 6.5 works... 6.3 not :|

Raul,

I had the same error "can't find project or library", see resolution below; - Worked for me !

For those new to TV. Copy "TrueVision3D.dll" from the Bin folder to your Windows system32 folder usually "c:windowssystem32".

Secondly, Open your VB6 reference Window, using the "browse" button find "TrueVision3D.dll" in your system32 folder, double click to register in your Windows and make it is a referenced VB component. Now, uncheck the old "TrueVision3D.dll" referenece with MISSING label - This solves the problem.

It would be easier if TV SDK 6.3 places "TrueVision3D.dll" in ones system32 folder to start with.

Thanks

well, u can try a method that registers the Truevision3D.Dll and with TVMedia.DLL. U could click Start button->all program->accessories>CMD lines, then input "regsvr32 Truevision3D.dll",and "regsvr32 tvmedia.dll". if you are in Windows Vista, u must use Administrator class to register the two files.

Hi
Once I wanted to install my game on a pc for a friend and I had the same message as you.
I missed a DLL file in the installation package that I make.
I see that people mention the following file: "tvutil63.dll" in the system32 folder over the recording in REG.
Indeed DLLs truvision3d.dll and tvmedia.dll are in my folder "tv3d SDK 6.3" or look in the root of the game for the final version.
I am on 2000sp4.
My friend on XP SP2.

I hope that his will help you a little.
Bye
