Has anyone heard anything recently about the release of 6.5? Been waiting to see this one for a long time - hope it's soon!
Is there a newletter or something I can subscribe to that will keep me up to date on the development of this product?

I'm waiting a lot of time too... Its unbearable... I'm waiting. And waiting. And waiting... And its not coming! Even not a release date... But the developers themselves don't know when. And its a big problem.
If you have money you can buy it for $100/$300 (Single product/How much you want).

No. But I can tell you as a beta tester that the devs do seem to be making pushes towards final beta. None of them have mentioned a date but a lot of what they seem to be doing of late seems to be aimed at the transition from closed->open beta. So it can't be that far off.

well it's just that it's been a very VERY long time without any kind of real definative update as to what's going on so the term vaporware keeps creeping into my mind...I hope I am wrong as I have a project that I am hoping to use 6.5 for since Axiom is gone for all intents and purposes...

Well I can pretty much guarantee it is not VaporWare, otherwise the several comercial products I'm working on would all be in my imagination  That would not be good! -p

It can't be vapourware given that hundreds of users are currently using it and getting updates. So it can creep in to your mind if you like, but the evidence to the contrary is all around you.
I just wish everyone would stop bitching, if you want it now, support the product. Otherwise shut up an wait patiently( like the majority of the other free users ). Beta access is a perk for CUSTOMERS. You should think yourselves lucky that there is even going to be a free version. Thats a testament to how much the devs care about this community. Few companies would release a product of this size for free with only a watermark as a limitation. But as far as I care, if you haven't paid for it, you have no right to whine about it. You are damaging this product, you might not think you are but you are, if the devs rush development because of all this bitching they will end up releasing an inferior product. As a CUSTOMER I don't want that to happen - maybe if you guys invested by purchasing a license you wouldn't be so quick to want development rushed.
