Wow so much has changed! But now I'm kinda confused... So here are some questions that are on my mind:

1) What happened?
2) Why doesn't truevision3dsdk.com work anymore
3) Who are Black Box Interactive?
4) Where are Scott and Chris?
5) What happened to Opiuchi3D?
6) Why is the sky blue?
7) When will RC3 be released? (j/k)

That can all be answered at once...

Black Box Interactive (BBI) was the former host for tv3dsdk.com website, they are no longer hosting it for them, and they are sorting out any issues in regards to the domain.

I'm not publicizing it (indeeeeed not) but since you asked, their new website is www.blackboxinteractive.com , you'll most likely find info about Ophiuchi3D there.

Most of my confusion is from being away from the site.
* excuse, I'm back in college!!!!  just finished my semester WHOOHOO

anyways.
1. Is the Truevision3D team still the same team with the same person in charge, or did some company take them over?  Just curious.

2. also, just because it sounds like things have really changed since i was gone, Is TrueVision going to STAY VB based even though it will support other programming platforms?  I'd hate for it to suddenly go dephi and c++ only leaving VB programmers in the dust again...

heh dont worry.

TV and BBI split into two companies. other than that, nothing has changed.

Chris and scott were working on O3D, Sylvain Arli and Darqshadow on TV.  So TV is still the same, worked on by the same people.  Only difference is truevision3dsdk.com wont work any more Sad

New site looks good!!

I was a little worried last week when I wen t to the truevision3dsdk.com site and got the "Directory Listing Denied" error. I thought maybe the site got hacked (or worse). It would have been nice to a t least post a message there similar to what was available at truevision3d and tv3dengine.

Now we just need to be a bit more patient for RC3!!
