Hello sirs,

I am working on a 3D Cricket game. I know VB.NET but I am new to TV3D. Can someone please tell me in detail how to start? I want to first create a UI then scenes etc.

Please help me.

First get ready for a long and hard road. Truevision is NOT the traditional game maker but a general purpose 3D rendering engine which sometimes people use to make the 3D graphics part (for now at least) of their games.

Yes, it supports Visual Basic (.Net too), contrary to other engines but don't expect much from sound, Network and most important tools like world editors, GUI editors (although many exist from other users) ... etc.

You may want to search the forums for "TUTORIALS". I know there are a few users that have ported the old 6.2 version tuts to 6.5. The installation of TV3D6.5 i think has a vb.net template project to help you get started. Also you can visit the Wiki and get the Vehicle starter demo to help you with physics.

Be prepared though. It's not as simple as you might be thinking !!!
