How do you get the button state of the game controller? I have attached to the joystick and can get the slider and axis states but can't figure out how to get the button states.

I never used the GameController classes, but there is a "Buttons(0 To 31) As Byte" in both TV_JOYSTATE and TV_JOYSTATE2, that should tell you their states.

Here is a little VB .NET app I whipped up real quick just to verify I can get input from a  game controller. It may be of interest to someone who is working with the game controller.
