hi everyone,
I have try to make the same steps but i have found lots of problems with texturing part, so I want to share one little important thing about texturing with PnP. When you copy your texture files to your TEXTURES directory of your project, put the files into a subdirectory!! it's very important!!

Hello everybody,

first of all, thanks Eric for this very nice tutorial. We still don't have a "Getting Started Guide" within TC. But maybe we will add one for the next release. BTW: the image links seem to be down, I could host them on my server if you want.

I noticed some of you having the one or other problem and I would like to encourage you to post problems and whishes into our forum. I'm always very happy to see people working with our program and we will answer every post as soon as we read it. So for most problems our forum will be the most efficient way for you to get help and for me to learn about your problems (for example: the next release can read textures and objects from their base directory without the need to create category folders).

So if you need some feature or help please let us know.

Ralf

I guess, like any other software, it takes some times to learn how it works, but things are well organized in all seperated tabs, so after playing with for a bit it should be quite easy to understand how it goes.

hey,
When i create terrains in pnp that have sharp edges or completely vertical walls(cliffs), it doesnt show up properly when i load it into my program.  Is it an error in the way im loading it.  I just call GenerateHugeTerrain.  Is there any way to stop tv3d from rounding my edges?

thanx

Well, there's the SetAffineDetail or when loading the landscape, play with the precision and/or the Y scale.

I'm going to see if I can find those tutorial pics and get them hosted elsewhere.  My statix.org host was free and lasted acouple years but all good things must come to an end Sad
