Greetings!

This looks rather good indeed. I've been looking at a few engines atm and this has caught my eye. I was wondering though how does it get on being compiled in C++? I've heard nasty things about engines and C++ I've been working alot with DirectX lately and have decided to move to an engine to save time. I'm worried though about how easy it is to compile with C++. I hoped it was just a simple matter of including necessary libraries and dependencies but when trying to run OGRE I found you needed pre-compiled solutions some of which wouldn't even run with Visual C++ the thing they are orientated towards - although tht might just have been me getting confused.

I use code blocks mainly as it's simple - like me. Will this engine build ok in code blocks or do I need to use Visual C++ pre-compiled dependencies thus limiting my IDE scope? Tbh I find Visuall C++ comple to use and not so user friendly as Code Blocks but that's probably just me Wink

Csn anyone throw bit of light on this? Thanks Wink

It's easy to get started with C::B.

It's just 5 steps really:
