I can't believe people have the effrontery to whine about 6.5 not being ready

Just to make things clear.... I was not whining about the availability of 6.5, just getting my facts straight so I could plan accordingly.

Then again.. your in the 6.5 availability thread! Whining should be made mandatory here!  Tongue

damn darq, from what I can see, things aren't working out for you right? Sad
sorry to hear about your mother, I hope she recovers soon, and stays healthy from then on!

take care, 6.5 can wait, ones (relatives'/friends') health is way more important then getting 6.5 out of the door

I purchased the 6.5 beta engine about six months ago, and as far as i'm concerned, it  is a complete engine capable of producing profesional games right now, while costing about ONE THOUSAND TIMES LESS than the "big name" engines (go shop for the Unreal Engine or one of those...and you'll see).

you shouldnt say that, there are also free engines out there that is capable of .. but it is not the engine, it is you who can be capable of producing games...

Thank you everyone for understanding (and I am sorry for snapping a bit there, stressful month).  Wink  My mom is recovering nicely, and should be headed home the first of next week (seems fast to me, but who knows I'm just a programmer).

Rest assured I am working my butt off, as is Sylvain, to get this in everyones hands.  There is a whole slew of things that comes with the pre-release to make things easier/better for the community (including finally launching a file repository for our members!)  I've managed to sneak in a few hours of coding here and there this week, and I should have more time available this weekend when I'm not at the hospital.  Just a few minor additions to the core and prerelease is ready -- then we just need the ability to get the files to everyone (thus the reason for the new file repository).

But sooooooooooon...  Tongue

Darq, you've had a rough several weeks/months!  While I am pleased that the "soon" is getting closer, I mainly hope that you and your family can get past these BAD TIMES(tm).  I've gone through some bad things recently as well, and my prayers are with you and yours.
