Hi all. I am learning TrueVision3D with VB6. I do not understand about AddWall, AddFloor of Mesh.

Quote
Here is something new : we add walls to our room object. It's not
really complicated : you just have to understand some basic
principles. The first one is : that a wall is a rectangle. The
second one is : the rectangle that defines the wall is created
by using 2 vectors. The third one is : the 1st vector needs to
define the nearest part of the wall and the 2nd vector needs to
define the farest part of the wall.
The fourth one is : the wall
coordinates are seen from a top down view.

Everyone can explain to me?
Thank you! Have a good day

You must define the position of two corners that are diagonally opposite on the rectangle.

ie:

p1------p2
|       |
|       |
p4------p3

So you would either use the coordinates of p1 and p3, or the coordinates of p2 and p4.

By providing two points that are diagonally opposite the engine will know the size of the rectangle.
