Hey all...

I just wanted to show the latest addition to my editor (Still no name).

Volume Clouds...The tool allows for a very custimizable cloud creating system.

Here are some features:
  • X,Y,Z size adjutments
  • Clouds get thicker/thinner and more dense closer to the center
  • Clouds can have different colour adjustments.
*Like i have used a darker scheme where the clouds are more densed
  • Different cloud textures makes for different cloud themes

Some Screenshots...

Two without post effects

With Post Effects (Sorry for the over blur.I had Depth of Field on and the clouds are a bit far on the following screenshots)

I think this cloud is trying to say something...

I am still busy adding more to it aswell tweaking to perfection as I don't want that extremly black spots unless the whole sky is like that and the world is coming to an end.

Any ideas and comments would be appreciated  Grin

Hmm, this looks interesting. Are they made solely from sprites (billboards) or are you mixing it with some volumetric fog shaders etc?

I would tweak the settings so that the shading of the clouds be at the bottom and opposite direction from the sun (right now it looks kinda random), other than that, its looking good!

All Billboards...I am still busy with the shaders section of the editor. So far I have the usual shaders like parallax, refract and rim as well as the internal ones. My time is just so limited

This is excellent looking work.  Don't give up, we all know how hard it is to find time for code.
