This demo includes a demonstration of using a number of features simultaneously:

-Lightmaps
-Specular and parallax shading
-TV Water
-TV Glow
-Alpha transparency

The most important fact is that it shows how lightmaps can work together with dynamic lights. Basically you have here all the essentials of building a decent looking FPS. It is a modification (or rather modified use) of Zak's lightmap shader so most credit goes to him.

All the art is done by me, you can use it freely. Lightmaps were done in VRay, normal maps in ZBrush. It was an unfinished piece for a competition at CGTalk.

Amazing, Lenn... glad to see it in action at last! Cheesy
A very cool use of my humble and SLOW shader. I so need to remake it with Half-Life-like bump-mapped radiosity... Anyway, great work! Tongue

YES! It is a bit slow and if you ever get round to it, the HL2 shader would be very useful indeed for those wanting to make a higher quality FPS.

Oh and btw this would really be much improved with the newer version of zaks shader. If you really need to combine shadowmapping with normal maps in your game (like any decent FPS should) you should look for it. I think it uses something like the method in hl2.
