Why not Truevision3d?  This is a Truevision3d forum not an Ogre forum or an Irrlicht forum or a crystal space forum.

Why if you're asking for volunteers who are guaranteed nothing (not even compensation in the unlikely event you do receive funding) are you not creating freeware projects?  Why is this a "business" and not a 100% goodwill effort?  What better way to ensure the game(s) reach as many people as possible than to offer it FREE?

Please read the message again sir, it is not that we are saying that there is no chance of getting paid but we are saying that based on the lack of funding we dont want to misguide people and get into any legal issues because of money so we are setting a standard from the beginning so people will not misunderstand.  And about the Ogre and Irrlitch question, i could have listed every single engine but i put those two because if there is anyone who has skills in truevision3d and replies we will be able to work something out.  And please if you have any concerns just email my email address please do not flood this post with your opinions and comments, there will always be praisers and critics and some people get discouraged by negative remarks and in fact 90 percent of the negative remarks i have seen and receive come from people who totally misunderstand what was being written and instead of trying to understand they end up venting their opinion and heart and now it causes other people to get the wrong idea so please if i had an issue with your posts i wouldnt send harsh remarks i would deal with you directly because i may not be right with my remark at all.

Don't flood this post with my opinions and comments?  Is that what you think I've done? So much for the golden rule.

You really should quit being so defensive.  I think my questions were legitimate ones and the answers of which would benefit anyone interested in the original post... something a private email would not have accomplished.

Personally I think you should get a simple website, and put all this info on it.  Then give simple versions of what you want with links to the site in the forums, because a lot of that is not needed, and you miss your selling point.

On another note, what exactly are you trying to say with regard to religion...

Quote
1)An open and humble heart, willing to be under authority to allow God to use you in a great way under the direction of the CEO 2)We are not looking for religious people...
Quote
MOST IMPORTANTLY… (MUST) LOVE JESUS CHRIST (WHO DIED FOR ALL OF US AND IS ALIVE!!)

Please, figure out your advertising FIRST...  I'm just starting a Software development club at school, even a simple advert for that took 4-5 revisions to present the info that people wanted.. take this as feed back for further revisions.

Oh, and stop saying "under spiritual leadership" and "this something from God"
Instead talk about how together the developers should grow spiritually, and how you personally believe this 'is something from god'.

Why am I so harsh?  Quite simple, I honestly would like a project like this to succeed, but first you have to think about who your advertising it too (and therefor what info should you post to 'hook' them), and you should think on wether or not you making it sound like a bloody cult.

Example, Draft:
CHRISTIAN GAME NEEDS TEAM

Hi, i am/ we are a group doing ... with think ... and hope that by joining you'll get ...

We are needing experienced developers in almost every field, including (this forum does 3d so talk about it)

Please visit at ... for more info and browser the many area's we would like support in.

Once again this is just feedback, enjoy!

Sounds like an advertisment for AA, or indeed a reason to keep drinking. Either way.

This post has been on other engine forums aswell.. i detect jesus wannabe spam.

If you wanna promote the church or suck in people to your project with some "you'll be serving jesus ect" bs, then your sadly mistaken.

Jesus is some fantasy that allows the church to suck in money, i mean, what in the holy hell does jesus need money for anyways ?....

Its propaganda, nothing else (that goes for ALL religion in my eyes).

Heheheh

I'm suprised a Christian dares step into the gaming world, a world governed by a much stronger and more involving religion - the world .... of warcfaft !

Though, the Bible has some kickass stories too, I'll give you that. But would've been more popular if it was 3D.. And if it had avatars in bikinis running around. Smiley

There's an idea -  a christian World of Warcraft!
