I have been thinking about this project for quite some time and if there is anough intereast then I would like to move forwarf with it. Here is the idea.

Basically it would be like visual studio or the visual basic IDE. Where you could see the properties of the object and edit them in real time. You could drag an actor from the components box and place it on the view port. (it will kind of be like a visual studio/ 3dsmax combo)

Basically one amazing level editor where you can assign user defined scripts to objects and set triggers, etc.. (Kind of like rpg maker)

Once the level in the (IDE) is complete then the Visual Studio will export the code for that project. (Would like to support multiple languages) This way you can fully compile your project to get the best performance.

The editor (Visual Studio) will be written in VB6 for now. As it seems to be the most widely used with TV. So a good knowledge of VB6 and the TV engine would be helpful.

I know a lot of people have been working on editors etc in the forums. So if they have been looking for some team mates and want to tackle a rather large project then I am all for it.

I am not doing this project for money and may even make it open source if team mates wish.

So far I have a class properties reader and displayer kind of like the properties box in vb. (Pretty sloppy code right now, but it works.) I have the class wrappers for TVAtmospher done and working. (so ther is a demo of how the properties box might work)

I am currently working on comming up with an actor editor. (This alone will take me some time to complete.)

I am open to any suggestions. I am hopeing to keep everything modular so multiple people can work on the project without anyone stepping on toes.

Thanks for any interest.
