Hey there levani,

I am not at the stage of needing music yet either, but man your 2007 demo reel is very impressive, I am most certainly going to keep you in mind when the time comes for audio. Excellent job!  Cool

Hello friend,

I'm not a game developer and i'm not offering a job but having listened to your demo i've got a simple suggestion to make. You propably know more than me on this matter so in advance i'm sorry if i sound like i don't know what i'm talking about.

Your demo has beautiful sounds but it's mostly calm and ambient-like which reveals very little of what you can contribute to a project during it's action intensive moments. As a gamer i want to have "goosebumps" when i see the master level dragon or things get too hot in the game and that's when the music (YOU) kick in.

Your effects of "Tape start/stop" are nice but it would better for your portfolio to take a little time (if you have, i mean. We all suffer from the lack of it) and create 4 shorter demoreels from your existing work (you decide) that will give a preview of Calm-Ambient, Action-Intensive, Victory & Failure moments.

If you can also cover the Historic-Fantasy, Current-Modern Age and Future Sci-Fi Eras, you would provide your website visitors with a Complete view of how their unique game would benefit from your also unique talent.

Having your voice at the start is something that caught my ear so i believe it's also nice to explain what they would hear. It provides the required intimacy to get people thinking of calling you.

Best wishes ...

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it very much. It's quite likely that I will keep the 'general' demo reel, however, on the next update, I think it would be wise to do something like you have suggested. It would help me appeal to a much wider range of developers more effectively, thanks for the thoughts,

Regards,

The orchestral Energy Reel has some good samples. I can already hear them in some medieval-strategy game. Nice.

You made music from samples taken from other games? Tongue
Probably not, but it sounded like that. Smiley Good job, btw.
