Okay, there are a lot of posts of people that are looking for people to join their team and there is a discussion thread about the succes of internet teams but still.. I will post my question here:

I've just started my first TV project but I've quite a lot of programming experience in Java, Vb6 and C++. If necessary I will work on the project alone but I would really like it if there was somebody who wants to join. I'm not saying someone who wants to help because I want to create a team in which everyone is equal.

There are a lot of blanks that have to be filled in.. I've a basic idea what I'd like to make but all thoughts are welcome and we'll decide together what will be implemented and what not. Okay first some basic info of what I had in mind:

I'd like to make a futuristic 3D transport tycoon / Industry Giant type of game. In a world there are factories and stuff and you have to build hightec rails between these factories and manage the transport of all products. I want to implement a variable economy so you have to be smart when you transport what type of material. As you make progress new vehicles with more capacity and higher speeds will become available. And a lot more...

It will be programmed using TV and C++ (Microsoft Visual C++ 6).

Is there anyone interested to join me and help me to create this game. It doesn't matter what your skills are, programming, sound, 2d UI design, modelling, texture design, or you simple want to help me to set up teh concept ideas, ANYONE who is enthusiastic is welcome!

Drop me a line at my email adres

Sounds interesting, that is for sure.

I suggest you get a tech design drawn up first and detailed as much as possible (spend a good week on it)

If i wasnt so busy with work and college, I might drop my project (seeing as i havent been able to touch it for a good 10 months now)

I know this reply comes a little bit late but...

How is the project doing?
What is the status?
Where can i find some info about it?
How big is your team?

Maybe i can be an added value because i have tought alot about expanding the basic TTD concept.
So if the game concept is not yet final i would love to take a look at what you already came up with and what could be added.

My background:
Work in the IT Sector as a consultant and Product Developer.
Active in the Service Level Management sector.
Was involved with the foundation for set-top-box in Belgium
Was involved with the pre-release of SIMS2 in Belgium.

Feel free to contact me, i'd be happy to be involved with a follow-up of the TTD succes.
