Hello,
I'm looking to start a team soon and was wondering if anyone is intersted in joining. I need a couple of programmers and texure artists and 1 modeler (I will be modeling and texturing). I have a design document which is approximately 70% complete (I believe its currently around 40 pages). I have around 2 years of experience in general game design and team management using the internet to communicate. I have learned many difficult lessons durring this time and know that finishing a game is not an easy thing to do.

Anyhow, about the game. As stated in the subject of this post, the game will be a SimCity game (or in other words a city simulator) - with several significant gameplay differences. I am expecting this game to take 1 to 2 years to complete.  I expect to have the design document 100% complete in the coming weeks and will not actually start the game until that time. So why am I recruiting right now then? Mainly because I require members to sign a Non-Discosure Agreement (NDA) and a form which outlines the 'payment' of team members in the event the game is published (which I plan to do). Basically what this form says is each member is paid a percentage of the net profits for the game each month based on the amount contributed to the project.

Need more info or interested in joining? Email me at jeremydenhartog@hotmail.com or post a reply...

I am a modeller and programmer (but not really good programmer)

I am currently working in a personal game project including medieval buildings and characters(have done a few yet)

Could we have more information about the game because, if you want to start with a village, my mediaval buildings could be really nice in it and I could continue modelling this..

tell me what you think of this

I am working on a project that is for role playing games, I could use your models.  I really need someone to make models for a fantasy envoroment.

Hey Tido,
Thanks for replying. The game itself is to start in the year 1900 so medievil buildings/characters would not necessarly be needed. With that said, theme parks will be one of the many things a player can build so we could possibly have a medievil themed theme park I suppose. Also, if you could give me your email address, I'd be more then happy to email you with more detail about the game. Any other questions, let me know....

I have decided to put this project on hold due to lack of enough free time on my part. I hope to eventually do this project but I've dicided now is not the right time and have shifted my attention on designing a less demanding project to work on. Thank you to all those who replied....
