Hi,
I wasn't here a lang time because I tried to deal with DirectX 9 in Delphi without
TV3D but now I come back because I learned a lot that can help me with programing
games but not without TV3D because I think it is a good step to know both and to handle
with TV3D.

Because I have not such a huge experience with TV3D and because I'm not that good
in doing graphic stuff I thought I may can find another person here.
I am from germany and I would prefere someone from germany because of the
language aspect and time-zones etc...
I develop using Delphi 2005 PE.

May we can do a smaller game like "XXO" together to see how it runs and then
we could concentrate on a little bigger project.
But I think it's important to say that this is just for fun, to develop some things
that may makes a few people happy Wink

Normally I am 5h online but I'm doing my homework in this time etc and finally there is maybe 1h a day to program something.

If you use Delphi too and if you don't hesitate to startup with a Newbie in TV3D
who is interested in some support and sometimes has good ideas, and if
you are from Germany or Europe then don't hesitate to post here.
Developing makes more fun with 2 persons Wink

2h or so and i am back at playing a game of some sort. And i havent even been doing anything, at least that have i feel like it.

The sad thing i dont use Delphi and are not planing on using it.
But VB, C++, java and .net framework i am much more interested i learning to use.
But else i like to join whit you if you think thise could work out!

i am thinking of starting a sourceforge project, but seem silly to use that only for that.

Hey Basti,

i am german, i don't use Delphi but C++ with TV6.5 Beta. I do not have enough time to get involved in another project, but am willing to answer questions auf deutsch Smiley I did not explore all aspects of TV3D yet however, no Physics, no landscapes.

Hey again,
thanks for your answers.
I'm sorry but I have to tell you that I don't want to change the language.
I think I worked hard to get a complex knowledge base in Delphi, especialls
with object orientated programming and pointers etc...
So another language has these possiilities too but it needs time to learn it again.

And I know that there are some people who use TV3D with Delphi  Tongue

Too, I want to add that it is not that important wether you are from Germany.
It would be a good thing but it's okay as long as you are not 5 timezones away.
And I don't want to invest 2 hours every day, that's not the point. I just wanted
to tell you that I have this time and not that we do something and 3 days later I stop it.

Finally I thought it could be good to tell you more about my idea for the small game
so that you are more interested in my wish Wink
I thought of developing a "XXO" game in 3D. This means you have a field of 3x3x3
tiles and each of the 2 players has a symbol  (X or O in original game(.
You choose a field and place it there. The player that first has 3 symbols in a line or diagonal wins. With some nice models and animations and a working AI and
multiplayer part this could be good to start a small team with I think.

So, post here if zou are interested - you should be now
