You realise darq, that ppl like these are the reason ppl flame... I'm doubting anyone in the chatroom realised that that dude from nasa was actually a dude from nasa.... or believed it if he said it... there's too many users that will sh** their asses off to get what they want, and don't really want to put effort into their own coding... it's hard to tell who's legit.... and who's just trying to leach code/ be a pain in the arse.... just a thought  :wink:

you know why rus programmers is cool? because we use free soft:

windows (any ver)=2$
photoshop,corel,3dmax,vc,delphi...and other.....and any other.... its only 2$  Tongue

I can verify that, you get all that free stuff in St Petersburg, Russia or Tallinn, Estonia. However there is no need to talk more about this, moderators are around the corner.

... well, got to mention the beer - it's also very affordable in Tallinn, we carry huge loads of it up here, literally ;-).

I'm from belgium... and not that I want to force you of comming to my country (holland is nice to Wink )... But their health system and clinics are FAR,FAR worse than the belgium ones... We realy have a great healthsystem... We need to pay a little bit of taxes for it... But when we get sick... We get almost 80% back from the state :p

my maths may be off here, but 2$ is not my definition of FREE software. One would assume these are pirate copies. So you're actually paying for something somebody downloaded and sold on. In which case, how dumb are you?. Download it yourself an save the 2$ Cheesy

Maybe lets try NOT to download and steal it... Developers like you and me put a lot of time in the dev. of their software/game. If you steal it, they will see no money of it!

That is what is destroying the game/software industry!!

I was pointing out that he's paying for pirated software, which is stupid, if you're gonna rip something off you shouldn't pay money for it. I don't think its destroying the industry as much as people reckon however, sh** games are wrecking the industry.

In some countrys its pretty easy to get away with that. Some countrys thats the only price you can get because all the stores sell a pirated copy there. Thats what you get when you have a very loose legal system for software. Shops down there would rather buy from the pirates for just a dollar per Win XP CD instead 100 dollars.

I saw a documentry on TV about this one time.
