Hey ya'll... Anyone from the irc channels knows me as 'foamy'.

I need help with my current project, Rudius.  It's a online gladiator combat game.  Homepage: www.gladiatorcombat.com, Blog: www.gladiatorcombat.com/blog/index.php.  So far i've done the deisign document, coding, art, everything by myself.  I happen to code, but its not my strong point nor desire.

A solid and competent coder(s) would make this project possible.  At the current rate it would take me a year to finish and still not be at the level I'd like.  The current codebase is C# and fully version controlled.  Initially work on arena/glaidator editors and db have also been completed.

If anyone is interested please give me a ring at delaney@gsddevelopoment.com or post a reply... thank you very much.

Wow...  Incredible post, there, Device.  It would have literally taken you LESS time to click the links he gave and had every single one of your questions answered than it had to have taken you to actually submit the question.

Guess you aren't exactly "Master if the Obvious" now, are you?

Anyway, I would help, but I'm not much of a coder. I like the design and storyline development more. But I just wanted to say that the game looks very interesting. The screenshots are very nice. Cheesy

Thanks DataHunter2009 for your interest and praise.  The design is pretty locked down and the game has a story arc that rivals counter-strike; so there isn't much to do there.  If you can create normal mapped historicially accurate architectural pieces or know a good deal about .net socket programming then please let me know!

oh well you win some you loose some.  You slip and there's always some #*(^$@ there to point it out.  That's life... OH NO I'TS MY TURN TO BE STUPID... HATE WHEN THAT HAPPENS!!!! I did actually click on the links at the time I posted that.. I visited www.gladiatorcombat.com.  That link had nothing useful in the way of my questions in it and I figured since they were the same domain I was looking at the website.. So my mistake not clicking link 2

So there you have it a lengthy explaination of my stupidity and obviously missing of the obvious.

well i did send TWO links.  one to the main page, just text and a link to the blog.  The main page also has a link to the blog.  Either should be able to tell you what you need.

I was only having a bit of humorous fun there. You didn't have to go atomic on me. Tongue

I have no experience in socket programming (although I tried to make a msn like conference program, but I gave up on that quickly). Btw, will this be free or a subscription game?
