Hello, iam quite new here and would like to find additional teem members for a cRPG project.

We are planning to use tv3d as aur engine and tools that support the needed file types, as for programming we will propably ( 70% ) use c++.
The game it self is strongly a story telling game, the gole is to get it as close to a real pen and paper rpg experience as possible.
The teem consist of traditional artists from my art school and miusicians mostly after miusic school, still the teem in the development state for today is wery liquid, i have some people that would like to work on it but we havent decided whose in and whose not.
We have strong content creation skills involving allmost all traditional art, we have proffesional  miusicall instruments and can record at ~ cd quality or with some near.
We are mostly full time students and this is a non commercial project but may change in the future.
I will not write here anything about the story or funcionality of the game becouse that is the candy and we have lots of very original ideas that dont want to see in other creations when developing eur own, sory.
Most of the teem dosent know a thing about making anything on a pc but that is not a need when we discuse creation of original and really nice content

We are curentlly looking for people with skills needed for programming and general development in tv3d.
People capable of making option X in the game without worying about the content.
People capable of creating good indoor/building's maps based on hand sketches and generaly concept art.
People willing to share theyre knowledge with us an vise verse, villing to learn.
People that have strong communication and "info serching" abilities
People that are capable of creating character models, and animating those models basing on chang sketches and description's
People that can design parts of outdoor world's based on descriptions, books, sketches
People with imagination and ideas becouse its really all about imagination and ideas

If you have any of these skills or you think you can learn any or maby more than one of those skills and would like to take part in this project please reply in email or here on the forum.

Please take note that when talking about design its not a place a room and a enemy in it.
I understand that not all have strong artists skills but from my own experience i can tell that designing and getting started to design is 2 difrent things.
Thats why we would give sketches and descriptions ( detailed descriptions ) and evry other help to one that would like for instance model those things for tv3d.

Same for any programming, options in game, world creation or anything else.

About other listed skills like communication skills and such, we still would llike to see people in the teem that can spare the time to search the web, ask other people, write news for the official website ( comming soon ) or keep in tuch with the tv3d community and such.

Sory if it sound like we want lots of and give nothing. We really thing that making a project like that can be lots of fun. I have meet some nice and skilled people olready here on the forums. No matter what you can do if you want to help its ok and we will propably agree.

We dont limit people by age and would like others not to limit us Smiley. there is olways someone wiser, more inteligent, with more experience out there.
We look at work not at the artist.

Its not a problem if you cant work long at the game, but for instace for a montch. Thats ok, we plan to make the game around 1-2 yeers and if needed maby more.
It have to be complete and the work wont be done in a hassle.

ps. I have a little hope that maby some pro would like to work some on it too, like a lil on the weekend or anyother free day.

pps. If you dont want to join the team but have usfull tools, tutorials and knowledge you would like to share to uss that would help a lot too and if you already made a project and can help getting started that would be very nice.

Thanks in advance

well, designing my world ed will be consuming most of my time, but i can only advance as fast as the tv beta does.  So i do have some free time.  If you would like i could help you out.  Programming and mathematics are my strongest points.  The only thing i saw in that list of things you needed that i can't do is this

People that are capable of creating character models, and animating those models basing on chang sketches and description's

but everything else i'm capable of doing.

Ow that is very cool.

about the skills i listed: I was hoping that a teem memmber would have one of it, if you know more than one that is just great Smiley.

Krystian Garstkowiak works on the main character concept art and cities residents from today and when the website will be finished i will put some concept art there.

I will contact you by pm or email ok ?

We still havent started to do any work with the engine it self, right now iam collecting money for the license.

My biggest worrys are about how we will practically start with the engine. If you know any tutorials for that please tell becouse i havent found any.

The other things you can do now is to tell what tools you recommend.

And. can we use youre world ed later with tv 6.5 ? and if not, again what do you recommend.

Thanks

Please read this post if you haven't already. It states information about samples, tutorials, etc for use with the TV3D engine. Also, you could check out TV3D Filez for extended samples, tutorials, models, articles, etc for use with the engine.

As for tools, i'm not too sure what you mean. The SDK already comes with many tools directed to help you develop your 3D applications with TV3D. But other than that, I don't quite know what it is you're asking for.

thanks for the links meh.

I will be doing some searches on the forums.

If anyone have any work they would like to add, test or show and would also like it to show in our first demo contact me.

In the demo there will be one location, the main character and some items. There wont be too much functionality as iam saving that for the last, by that time i hope to be better programer and make better stuf  Cheesy .

I think we will be able to release the demo before summer vacation and maby show ( i hope ) some aye candy.

thanks for the responses.
