Okay, ladies, due to Byte's prodding, I've decided to pick this demo up again, and complete it.  This was an educational demo I did some years back in TV 6.2, but have since ported over (ie, changed 3 commands) to 6.5.  I never really thought seriously about polishing it up and making a completed game with it, but what the hell.

If anyone wants to contribute the necessary artwork for the game, it is VERY simplistic.  All I need is the following:

* Some of those square ships that fly around in the TRON world.
* A human character in a "TRON" outfit animated to do the reach in front of them and bend over for the lightcycle thing.
* The walls around the arena
(Those three things, obviously, you'd need a copy of the movie to create.)
* A GUI for the game.  NOTHING fancy.  Just some inventive pictures and sh** to use as buttons, a life meter for the HUD, a small map, that kinda stuff.

That's it.  As you can see, most of the game's done, and has just sat as a demo available for people to play with until now:

Indeed. They are too low. Anything below 1500fps is unacceptable.

I self-censor this. Javin is one of the few here that presents serious output and he deservers serious answers. Lost focus for a moment, sorry. Anyone else who has similar feelings about own posts is free to follow me.

Awesome tekstures! If, and also you do, can i for my mmorpg agreed that provided i don't copy it take partially copy the texture double-sided and not use any money for it but only sell licenses that if you don't lose any money and then apply it on any 3d object without asking you for permission before and having distributed elsewhere or without before not? My mmorpg is called "toilet paper online".

I'll take this to mean nobody has any interest in seeing this go further.

I didnt mean to have my post make fun of him or the project. I was just simply having some fun like I always do. I wish the best for Javin and his projects. Ive seen some impressive things come from him, so there is no way I can poke fun at him.

Wasn't referring to your post, GV.  I know you guys are having fun.  I'm referring to the fact that it's been here over a week now, without so much as a single "I'll do texture" post.

Guess nobody wants to do all the work for me.  Cheesy

I don't just need  more models, Byte.  Just a font, some textures (exploding when hitting wall) and a GUI.  Mostly texture work.

I must admit I've never seen Tron from start to end or even played any derived games. If someone can confirm the tron ship to be the same as the 'boxy ship thing' above then I would model it. might also help if I had a couple more images of it from different angles

Edit: Found a free download of this on turbosquid in LWO format...

Hi Dan,
I confirm. Box ship is a ship from the movie. There was also a tank in there, with a specific interface for viewing from inside the tank. Not sure if this is on the net somewhere.
