its a test project which fixes the texture fonts bug of tv 6.2 (dunno if it still exist in 6.5)

bug: some characters appear cutted to half, specially on italics

here is the binary (exe) to let me know if it works on your pc too
http://freehost19.websamba.com/scrept/TextureFonts.zip

requirements: vb6 runtimes + tv 6.2 + dx8lib

ps: if swich the fontsize to a large number (100 and up) prepare to wait a long time Smiley
i'm locking the dx texure dynamically and loop each pixel, thats why

let me know the results ...

-added load/save
-removed gdi rendering
-much much faster now (2 secs for the above size - 150 pixels, 16 buffers of 512x512)
-Loading does not dynamically remake textures, so its even faster

thoughts on making a type-lib for in-programming use via COM languages
kinda utill library for tv3d

Well, if you find this application simple, why not show us a better way of doing it? Looking through your posts I have notice all you have seemed to have done is flag peoples work expecting professional quality our of everyone, even though majority of the people here are only hobbiests.

this is a forum about the TrueVision 3D engine that means that it ALSO allows you to render 3D,3D,3D,3D,3D,3D,3D,3D!!

whenever there's 3D in the title of a product it doesn'tdirectly  mean it's actually a game :?

*ahem*
