Hi everyone!

I'm creating drag racing game in Delphi using TV6.3

I've done real car straight line physics in 85% percent so my car is moving like real one (with real car parameters like torque, drag, mass, grip of wheels, car gear ratio and other sh*t    )

Right now i'm creating level and light system (but i must admit that there is a hard work with limited 6.3 abillities - no lightmapping and other :/ ) I cant find solution to apply lightmapping in 6.3 ... i've read something about rendering 2 same meshes - one with normal texture, another with lightmapping texture and blend it together ... tell my if i'm wrong

So .. more details soon - right now i will paste lastest screenshot of my work.

Looks awesome for a 6.3 project!!   Why don't you just move onto 6.5 though? Your project looks more than half-serious. It will pay off...

Ditto: I haven't seen such nice work in 6.3 in a long time. If you've got a little cash to spare, purchasing a license and migrating to 6.5 would do wonders.

yup it does, but i think the skybox makes all the difference, if that one wasnt that good, it'd look worse, but still pretty good for 6.3

Yes i know that skybox doing great job here Smiley Its on 50% percent of the screen :] So it has to look good

I'm working as a graphic designer in advertising company so i've got best self-maded or self-tuned textures in my game Smiley

I was trying to add bumpmapping to my road texture but seems that bumpmapping in tv63 aint working good :/ After apply to mesh i only see bumpmapping without mesh texture

And manualy placed in position were the light suppose to be. Suppose because real light sources are placed above middle of road. 2 billboards = 1 light source

In future i turn off those spot lights(leaving only directional light) and apply lightmapping

I've added :

1) light system (its determining what lights are nearest you and enables them)
2) fake hdr - hardly seeing on image - its in delicate mode Wink
3) added low poly trees from loopix Smiley
