Primary goals:

1: Map out the steps and disisions needed to create a simple game with limited networking useing TV3d.

2:Projet will give basic code to get the game up and limping. Idea here is you need to learn just as we do so this is a starting point you need to do the refining to make it worth sharing with your friends.

3: We will attempt to cover most of the comon gameing features players exspect today with a working simple code to get you a starting point to exsperament from.

4: Will attempt to have clear and consise notetation/ documenting for the areas covered in the finished project.

5: We do hope there will be community involvement in this as it is for the community as a whole that will benafet from this in the end.

Todo

Web services for this will be handled from my personl computor untill it is shown there is a need for a full time server. This computor is online from 9am PST - Midnight PST 7 days a weeks. Or Gmt -8 to calculate times it will be up for your local time.

For testing I have a few 2d photo realistic works up as this is something i enjoy doing for relaxation. Will add the Project area later today.

Was a test for the web server to make sure I had it set up properly. And it signafies the light at the end of my tunnel with TV3d and the realisation of a project I invisioned nearly 9 years ago.

so realy it is just there for the moment till I get some content up to fill things in with this lil project and this project is only here as a means of learning TV3d and the needed areas of programing to lead me to my personal project that has absolutly nothing to do with a game of any kind thoe many of the componints of a game engine will be usefull to me.

the picture you see here btw is not a photo it is a CG painted image.

Hmmm perhaps this project isnt even worth my time and effort as there is little interest as most of the users here are understandably interested and involved in there own projects. Maybe i should just dive straigh into my own project and call it good.

Many of the areas i need for my project are being done here and displayed useing 6.5 and as of the 21st I will be licenced and useing 6.5. I sapose I may as well say what my project is. My bacground is primarly the film industry and i have worked on many major well know movie titals. My family has 3 published writers and one of wich has a series of books that I want to turn in to an animated movie. So I plan to create the rendering animation FX platform to do just that useing TV3d In real or close to real time. This will alow real time creation and visualisation for consept creation of 3d animated flicks, comercials and full length films. With the useage of modle substatotion to lower polly counts for creation and proofing then replacement of actor modles with full polly count modles for final rendering. This is the plan any way. From what i have seen TV has the fraim rate capabiluty and DX 9c the level of quality that it is now a do able thing with out a gabilion dollars to finance a full produstion staff and an even biger R&D fx staff.
