Got some problems when i try to load .MDL files...

The texture of a certain part of the weapon gets to be the texture for the whole object, anybody might wanna help me?





the code for the weapon is:

Code:

Private Weapon As TVActor

Set Weapon = New TVActor
Weapon.Load "modeller\glock.mdl"
Weapon.SetPosition 0, 25, 0
Weapon.SetAnimationName "shoot2"
Weapon.SetSpeed 1

try setting the correct textures to the groups they belong to.  Like if 1 group is the gun, and another is the arm, make sure you actually set the correct texture to each part.

The models work fine in Half Life ModelViewer and so on,
its only when i load it into the game that this happen..

I use downloaded Counter Strike skins right now, just to get to know the engine.

tweakbox is right man, the LoadAutoTexture is working bad or whatever, so put the
texture manually. If u dont have the textures u can decompile the model with Milkshape 3d ( http://www.download.com/3001-2121_4-10332174.html)

I had to change to TVActor2, which is a upgraded version of TVActor Smiley

hi,
 this  texture are good, byt stil  not  best... they quaity isnt good, for  use it  info a game.... for me > i create   low poly models  with nomal maping > i  show some  at this forum soon. >  wait  for there and u will see  good models & texture Smiley . realy,  bye

I didnt think the texture looked that bad at all. Its not Half Life 2 but its certainly still good.

If this gun isn't good enough for you, I'm really looking forward to seeing what you can do. Please post some pics soon
