Well, as the application's name speaks for itself, there is not much I can add about this program I'm developing: it uses TV3D 6.2 and it is a geoscape3D like program mixed with L3DT - the user can model the Lanscape directly using some simple tools (Editing single vertex, entire map, area and smooth...), it exports the heightmap (8 bits .bmp format) and has a "Texture Generator" which uses the TVLandscape object functions to generate (and export) a texture for a heightmap (can be the active map or another) - Also the user can either manually specify the layers or use some basic and simple "climates" (like L3DT) to generate the texture. The landscape terrain info can be saved and loaded and used by the TV engine (at least 6.2...) with the TVLanscape.LoadTerrainData.

Here are some sreenshots:

I'm still working on some final details, but soon beta version will be realesed (the application will be completly free). Any suggestions or comments are most welcome. Cheesy

PS: Just one question - is it OK (I mean legally) to write "Powered by Truevision3D" in the splash screen?[

its totally ok to write Powered by Truevision3D,

ur program looks great, have u thought of anyway to mix up the texture if the land is near flat?

one thing i would request, actually for TV6.5 is to be able to export each layer of texture seperatly in black and white, or just export each layer separetly.

this will allow 6.5 users to use ur Texture Generator with 6.5's new Splatting Texture support.

First, thanks for the reply Pavel
About your idea, you mean like, instead of exporting the already generated texture, export something like alpha maps (black and white) for each layer that would "cut" the textures to the corresponding places where they should exist? I don't know if I am explaining it clearly, but is this somehow what you mean?
