Well guys, I have finally decided to make the switch to c++.  With the research I have been making over the last few months, it seems the wise choice.  Any beginner advice to a c noob?

Advice?

Learn to google -- don't think you're good at it, just do it.

Starter:

http://www.cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/
http://www.intap.net/~drw/cpp/
http://www.learncpp.com/
http://www.functionx.com/cpp/index.htm

Once you begin it doesn't end. Do not read, read. I'm aware that makes no sense. You'll get it after a year or so.

Haha, I know what you mean Smiley  I have worked with c++ in the past.. it has changed a bit since Visual c++ 2008 (which is what I am going to use).  Good news is that I am really on top of making sure my code is efficient as it can possibly be... which is why I am making the switch.  I will start checking out those tutorials tonight!  Thanks Arius!

If you're serious, buy this: http://www.wholetomato.com/

Makes C++ like C# in terms of IDE features. Very useful tool, could not live without it.
