Just wonder how easy its going to be, I mean people are posting already to this board so its going to be a merge now Smiley Plus are you going to create user accounts as well? Or just leave people to create their old ones?

Just as long as they're updated, thats fine by me. I really don't care when, either.  Though just as long as I get my profile transferred over since I don't want to lose my posting record - I have 220 messages posted. And Sylvain?  He might as well have like friggin 50,000+ messages posted! Heh heh!

Well mine was like 1600 - less my pointless ranting posts and wrong answers = 7.

So I'm not that bothered.

I am going to be working on importing the posts this weekend.  I am sure I can get all posts imported into the new scheme without a problem.  I have checked over how the users system works with our new site, and I will not be able to import the users database as originally planned.  There is too much information missing from the old DB that the new system requires, and they are far too different for the import to work properly.  Sorry guys, but all of us started over on post counts...  Wink

I will post updates later tonight as to how the import is coming along.

Who cares? As I can recall expertise was not in direct ratio with the number of posts, was it? Wink
