Importing Mesh Objects

Hi guys,
If I have a .3ds mesh object. How do I go about importing that into TV3D.
It is easy to do a .x file (LoadXFile), but what about other Mesh objects.

you can load that .3ds mesh in 3ds max and use the importer, but 3dmax is quite expensive. If you've got TV3D 6.5 installed, there's a modelconverter program inside. It can convert the .3ds files to *.tvm or *.tva.
The you can use the corresponding method in your program.

I use a little tool called "conv3ds.exe", which came with one of the earlier DX SDKs....I think 8.1 was the last SDK that carried it.
