Hello all.

I use VB6 and I am a little worried about using several dll's on my projects.

Microsoft Scripting Runtime and Common Dialog Controls.

I don't know if theese are licence free or there are any aditional fees for using them.

Also, if anyone knows if there is a problem with vbrun600.dll redistribution with the installer. I've read that Microsoft prohibits this.

Thank you.

Hi,
Common Dialog Controls and Microsoft Scripting Runtime are indeed free
use them how you wish.

I think the Microsoft Scripting Runtime ispart of Microsoft Office but it is still free to use

enjoy

Thank you.

You never know when a Microsoft bersek-lawyer will storm my software .... cash sucking creatures.

And about VBRun600.dll anyone knows something? I have read that Microsoft prohibits the redistribution via installers (something with forcing people to migrate to NET... or Vista). It could be just a fake alarm, but I want to know for sure.
