for 3 months. I dont WANT TO BE IN THE MEDICAL FIELD.
I love computers and programming... hardware, software..
I love it all.

But I owe my school 3500$...

and then to goto school for computers..

You could always do what that medical student did about a month or so back and go on a shooting rampage and kill people - but that wouldn't be the best route (and don't do it! I'm liable if you do!  SO I'M TELLING YOU NOT!!!   )

OK, I'd quit your school and try to pay off your 3.5G or whatever you owe - you're not gonna find a way to get rid of the debt just because you don't want to go into that field anymore... the school doesn't give a damn if you fail or quit as they get the cash regardless.  Cut your losses, work off some of that debt and look around for some schools that deal with computers.  Write some software part-time while in school and you'll be able to sell it and earn cash.

Just my input.

Well... there is a couple of choices.. but i have no idea what country you are from so this advice may be wrong..

one choice is to simply finish the course you are doing, and getting that lil peice of paper you get at the end of it, when it comes to jobs, everything matters..

or you can simply pay what is due, and start on a computer related one.

or the not so nice one.. give the college the dodgys and not pay them, if they contact you say your having finacial problems and it should be paid soon.. and eventually let it float... (ive never done such a thing! serious!! hehe Cheesy)

TOTALLY TRUE STORY:

I remember back in '93 (age 28) I was working in computers.  Had a wife, new baby, new house, etc.  At the family down the street, the husband was still in residency for radiology.  He stuck it out for two more years, then tacked on an extra year to specialize in neuro.  His wife thought he was f&cking nuts.  Almost divorced him she was so sick of the lifestyle.  During this time he was *miserable* - working every holiday, studying every night, barely able to make the mortgage payment and buy a pizza on a Friday.  Even in my one-income life at the time, we looked *rich* compared to these folks.  But he hung in there and graduated with average grades and his board certs.

Fast forward to 1996.  Guy gets hired by a radiology group that serves several rural hospitals.  Joins two other doctors out in the sticks of northern Ohio.  Job search was finished while he still had 2 months left in his residency.  First year earnings: $250k + 12 (that's right, I just typed twelve) paid weeks vacation, plus country club membership.  He's currently making $325k and is a limited partner.

Now, I'm still working in the computer field, and I have no regrets.  My family and I are truly blessed, and I want for nothing.  In a lot of ways, I have more than I deserve.  But the salary my neuro-radiologist friend is making?  That, my friends, is some monster phat kash.

Sob sob I love stories with happy endings... :')
I know this is way of topic but is it just me, but I LOVE IT when one of the main characters in the movie dies - Kinda like in the movie Resident Evil when the lady on the train turns into the zombie at the last moment and she gets shot in the head, flung back and hits the door-open button or whatever it is? I found that extremely funny! =)
