TV3D was a hobby project up until version 6.0. It was made into a commercial product because there were many larger companies who wanted to use the product, but they also wanted support and a paid license. There have been bugfix releases of 6.0, which was 6.1, 6.2, and shortly 6.3, but the primary focus has been on rewriting the product from the ground up, with a much cleaner design, DX9 support, true multi-language support, better docs, etc. Since TV3D was a hobby project, the initial docs were rather thin on content, however I have spent quite awhile organizing the 6.5 documentation, and Javin has been writing a "Getting Started" book for quite some time now, as well. Rest assured that 6.5 is a much different beast than the 6.0-6.3 releases.
Once we hit open pre-release for 6.5 we will be able to generate the final class diagrams and rework any documentation that has changed. Considering the number of people banging at the door for 6.5, we will most likely release without the docs at first, and then provide updates as sections are completed.
