Well i have to say ive been working with TV 6.2 for about a month and I have already done in that short time what took me 6 months to do in unreal so need i say more?

well i gues i will, you I used to do a lot of mapping and modding for the UT and UT2K4

so on a scale from one to 10 here is how i compare these to fine engines

TV 6.2

simplicity 10

stability 8

power 7

flexebility(Eg:how many model formats and texture formats are supported) 7

fun factor (how fun to code) 8

Unreal engine 2

simplicity 3

stability 8

power 10

flexibility 7

fun factor 6

thats what I think make of what you will  Cool

I might rent a DVD based on nothing more than five sets of scores out of ten, but I'd kind of like a bit more to go on when it comes to investing several years of my life developing a game. Could you possibly explain your scores out of ten in depth?

Unreal Engine is also very simple to use IMHO, I'd give it an 8.. Also the biggest advantage of using UE is that it's crossplatform, which TV3D isn't.. But then again, I guess it's all up to what you are used to..

Unreal Engine 2 Runtime does *not* support multiple platforms. It is Windows only.

Only a paid commercial license includes multi-platform support.

Uhm.. you're not allowed to use UE2 runtime anyway for games commercially or noncommercially.. and I guess games is what we are talking about.. and it sure does support other platforms (GNU/Linux x86, Macintosh OS X), but you are right if we mean with crossplatform something like PS2/xbox/whatever.
