Blender; has pretty good ridged and non ridged physics,
it's too bad TV3D didn't sport a physics engine in 6.2

It uses the Newton Physics Engine in 6.5. Not having used it yet, I can't say how good the physics are, but from the demos I've seen it looks like they should be good enough :-)

From memory it has the ability to be used as a modeler, as well as running sequences in it. It could be used for games, in fact, a friend of mine once made a very basic game in what I'm sure he said was Blender. From the website Blender is the open source software for 3D modeling, animation, rendering, post-production, interactive creation and playback. I'd guess that the interactive creation part could be used for games.

I dont actually understand how you want to make a game in a modeling app.
Blender as iam quite sure is a modeling package not a programming sdk.
Maby it would be good to make some research before making statements like this becouse it give confusion to people.
How can you compare a modeling app with a graphics engine ?
Ofcourse blender can be used to create animations and art FOR games but for sure not games if we talk about the same blender iam thinking.
I dont like blender in any part of it btw. so i dint tested it too much as just the interface made me turn it off.

Maybe *you* should do some research...
Blender is a modeling package, yes.. But it also has a game engine in it. It is fully programmable as well through Python. It may not be the best engine out there, but it is in fact, an engine.

BP I like blender3D, but for making model and rendering animations, or somethings like that, anyway u can make game with it, it have somes python librarys. Anyway the modeling tools is named Blender 3D not blender, perphas it isnt the same.....

Blender uses a "logic block" system for programming in game mode. and the older versions had a killer "solid liberary", for detecting collisions. Since it went total open, they couldnt aquire the older solid lib they used in previous versions,
yes,it's open source, and also has a port for python scripts.
the modeling part isnt worth a crap.

Yes the moddeling app is worth crap.
Actually by saying research i wanted you to post some more detailed description about the whole thing.
I never saw any thing metioned about there being an engine with the modelling package.
And iam quite sure we are talking about 2 diffrent products.
Dont take it bad but i just looked at your first post and thinked something like "yes another person that speaks about some wierd project in some wierd space and time and complaints that tv is not a) b) and c)". Like people who coplain that tv isnt OpenGL.

I was trying to learn Blender for about 3 months, and as Borys said, interface is horrible ... Genrally I hate GTK and other like this interfaces... for example GIMP is very good, but I hate it owing to it's interface ... I'm dreaming about free 3d modelling program like blender but with Win32 / .NET interface ...
