Hey there...seems QC'ers are invading TV3D forums

I am not familiar with 3dstate but either of the .net languages is a good bet. Pick the one you feel most comfortable with. I code in VC++ (.net 2003) but code in the same style as when I was in Visual Studio 6. I am most familiar with that style of coding and find it efficient. All depends on your taste i guess.

What are the main difference betwen regular VS and VS.net , and if i move to VS.Net should i keep the STL or use an other one

We are planing a invasion the QC'ers will take over !

.net has added functionality using the .net framework. It has some optimizations which i do not use for web and portable devices among other things. http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/cpguide/html/cpovrintroductiontonetframeworksdk.asp
STL is optional, up to you.

GO AWAY!!!! (j/k)

In answer to your question, I would personally opt for C++ (in comparison to the languages you know) But alas, it does come down to how you can handle the learning curve, and how efficent you are with coding.
