Work has begun on the new NetEngine!

I have laid out the basic framework for the projects, including the C++ .lib core, COM wrapper, and .Net Managed Wrapper.  All were tested and are functional according to the new development rules for 6.5.

Finishing the design layout diagram which will be used to code from.  This document will be posted in the NetEngine forum later this week for review by the community.  The code for 90% of the features is completed, I need to organize the code and merge into the new format that the NetEngine will use.  The #1 design goal of the new NetEngine is to remove all of the hard parts from networking, and allow the user quite a bit of power, without giving up flexibility.

Current Planned Features

DirectPlay (peer-to-peer and client-server)
DirectVoice

NetworkHost
Ping (Using the NetworkHost object its 1 function, and blocking or non-blocking modes)
Raw TCP
Raw UDP
Message-based TCP (uses the raw functions at its core)
Message-based UDP (uses the raw functions at its core)

UDP Options

Unordered
Ordered
Timestamped
Reliable
Unreliable

There is much more at the core, and the feature list is subject to change.  More information will be available soon when I release the design doc.
