I have some problems with export texture coordinates in X-format by Panda Export . I have made animated model of a fish with modifier Unwrap UVW. I have applied texture to model in 3dsmax 7 and received good result, but when I have opened X-Animated Mesh after exporting in TV3D Model Viewer, the result was awful! Mapping coordinates checkbox in Panda set True. Why coordinates of a texture (MeshTextureCoords{}) were not kept in X-file?  It is possible to use Unwrap UVW modifier with Panda?  Undecided

It is, but where did you have the Skin modifier in the stack? there are known problems when you have modifiers below the Skin modifier. So you should always try to get the Skin modifier as close to the mesh as possible, ie. the UVW map should be above the Skin modifier.
Hope this will help, i'm not sure... Smiley

I have checked up the following variants of an arrangement of modifiers:

Editable Poly-> Unwrap UVW-> Skin
Result: no texture coordintes, there is an animation

Editable Poly-> Skin-> Unwrap UVW
Result: there are texture coordintes, no animation

Editable Mesh-> Skin-> Unwrap UVW
Result: there are texture coordintes and animation. Hmm...  Huh

Hehe, didn't expect it to bug on editable poly while it works on the editable mesh, but anyway, it's good to know that it works Cheesy didn't expect that this would totally fix it, but it did  Grin So the tutorials for 3ds max that i've been watching lately have finally proven their use Tongue.
Anyway, good luck with the fish Smiley
