Hello everyone,

TVProjects was closed a long time ago. Is anyone working on it?
I have pretty much experience with PHP and MySQL and I thought about making it.

I didn't begin working on it (just thought how its would be), because I wanted to be sure no one else is working on it.

Anyway, can you and other developers tell me which features you want to see there?

1. blog(most important)
2. changes log(good for tracking progress)
3. simple gallery for screenshots(upload by project members only)
4. file download/upload area(upload available to project members only)
5. maybe a very simple user support system where users could post support questions or bugs and project members could answer them

dont forget a team profiles area to show details about current team members and a "now hiring" section for finding new team members

also make sure its a system where a person can create an account and be a member of mutiple projects sort of like sourceforge does

That was indeed planned. Anyway you can develop it on your server then when it's done we can host it so that it is never lost.

that would be perfect.. the first project on it could be itself.. so its open source and people can continue to make it better and fix things etc. good idea sylvain!

This sounds like a great idea!  Hope this follows through well, as this would be very useful!  Good luck!  (And I don't want to sound like an idiot, so I offer any help that may be needed, but I'm not of much use anyways...)

It was pretty close to finish, and then I stopped developing it... Not sure why.
I will finish it soon. Anyway, where should I host it?

Do you have a server where you could host it for a test run?  Like DS did with the TV3D website?

That way, if it gets their approval, you could have it hosted on the TV3D website like mentioned above.  Wink

I tried to send you a PM but not sure if it went through.  I might be able to host it for you ...what technologies do you use?

Just PHP and MySQL. I tested it on Windows, I suppose it will work on Linux too.
