Very cool, I'm very happy to see it finally released. This should be in showcase too!

Nice, I've been looking forward to this for a long time.
What is the licensing going to look like for darktools? Cost, etc.
I know darktools is still in beta, but if darktools is going to be useful to me might as well ask the question since the cat is out of the bag so to speak. :-D

It should be pretty simple: pay for a license, use at your risks Cost should be somewhere around 50 bucks, the idea is not to make a fortune out of it but rather make some money to pay for the website and maybe get some pocket change to help our 3D artist buy a couple of software There will be some 3D model packages coming up the way as well, a winter set has already been completed with 3 new buildings, textures, trees, foliage, characters and animals.

DarkTools looks great! I have been watching your progress on it for a long time. Unfortunately, when I go to run any of the tools, I get a "<toolname> has stopped working" as soon as I click on the exe, the fault module is KERNEL32.dll. I am running Vista 64bit, maybe this is because it wasn't compiled as x86?

Gratz on the release!
That said, I'm having the same issue as RootSage under XP x64. Any help would be appreciated.

Yup, replaced the EXEs and they work perfect on my Vista 64bit machine Your editor is very nice too, I like it very much.

Okay, I uploaded the beta 0.13 which includes the x86 assembly as well as a demo map. It should help out the new comers to the Darktools to get started.

Hi Newborn,
I would like to ask you, how you are doing the "Smoothing" on landscapes? The effect "Smoothing enabled" as shown in your manual on page 24 is very nice and I'm asking myself, if it is possible to have my TVlandscape-objects look similar ;-)

Link is not working.
I'm wondering to see more editors on work. I saw your screenshot before, it was very good.
