Hi,
I'm looking for a freeware AI engine that is usable by .Net, (VB.Net 2008), for use in my project. Does anyone have any good ideas of where I can get one?
Thanks

Seriously why don't you describe the type of AI you need.  Else how do you expect to get relevant recommendations?   Huh Huh Huh

Thanks!

I really don't know much about it so I'm a bit lost...

I'm trying a very basic fps, so I just need basic pathfinding and player detection...

Thanks again

You may wanna check out the book "AI for game developers" by Oreilly stuff. It contains the most basic things like Fuzzy Logic or A* Pathfinding and a lot of other semi-useful topics.

Lua is excellent for use as an AI system, its pretty easy to bind to objects so you can use it for just about anything.
